David Whitney is a Boston-area photographic artist with interests ranging from landscape to event photography, with a concentration in candid street and documentary image making. He has studied at the New England School of Photography in Boston and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His work has been exhibited at numerous museums and galleries, including the Danforth Art Museum, The Griffin Museum of Photography, the Maine Museum of Photographic Arts, Lens Culture Portrait Awards, the Garner Center, the Essex Art Center, the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts, the Bromfield Gallery, ASmith Gallery, Galatea Fine Art and Davis-Orton Gallery, where his “March for Our Lives” documentary portfolio was showcased. His work is also held in private collections.
